A big night of racing at the Sunline Speedway lived up to the expectations and then some on Saturday night with the final night meeting of the 2011/12 season.
The blue ribbon event of the night was the Steve Butcher Memorial for Street Stocks. This Saturday sees the Sunline Speedway fire into life for its final night meeting of the 2011/12 season.
Headlining the night is the Street Stocks who will be competing in the Steve Butcher Memorial. Over a dozen drivers will be battling hard to take the win in one of the most prestigious events held at the venue. Picking a winner will be tough with so many competitive drivers entered.

Australian champ Campbell Hughes has added to his trophy cabinet by claiming the South Australian AMCA Title at the Sunline Speedway on Sunday night. Starting the 30 lap main event from pole, Hughes was never headed but was pushed hard all the way by Tim Reidy and Darren McCarthy.

Plenty of quality racing was witnessed by the crowd that was in attendance Friday night at the Sunline Speedway.
The Wingless Sprints contested Round 4 of the Oval Track Express SA Series. 17 cars competed over 3 heats before the top 6 in points contested a dash for pole in the 20 lap feature. Race fans will be in for a treat this Easter long weekend at Sunline Speedway with 2 meetings to be held in three nights.
The action starts on Good Friday with the Lightning Sprints running night 1 of their Easter Cup Triple Treat with 10 cars nominated. A perfect night greeted race fans at Sunline Speedway on Sunday night for its 2nd meeting of the season. A good size crowd witnessed plenty of great racing with the majority of the races running without interruption.
Arguably the draw card of the night was the Super Sedans, who were running Round 3 of their country series. With 14 cars racing on the night, it was the biggest field witnessed at the track for some time.

This Sunday night, Waikerie’s Sunline Speedway hosts night 2 of its 2011/12 season with 6 classes on the program.

On a prefect night for racing, a great sized crowd witnessed Victorian Mick Dann take out the Jack Daniels Racing S.A. Street Stock Title. In a race of attrition, only 10 of the original 20 starters made it to the chequered with some of the pre race favourites finding trouble early. Defending champion Anthony Beare, and Darren Flatman were out early in the main event while Barry Sullivan and Anthony Gibbs struggled all night and failed to make the Title race.

A reminder that nominations for the Jack Daniels Racing SA Street Stock Title close this Sunday the 29th January. Currently we have received 9 nominations but expecting many more towards the end of the week.
All other classes have until February the 5th to get their nominations in. Classes running in support are Modified Sedans, Late Models, Juniors, Classic Speedcars and Super Modifieds.

Sunday the 29th of January, Sunline Speedway will be holding a practice session from 12 noon to 4pm. Whilst its mainly aimed at the Street Stocks in preparation for the Jack Daniels Racing SA Title, it will be open to all classes. The canteen will be open for food and drinks.

We are pleased to announce that Jack Daniels have come onboard as a major sponsor for the 2011/12 season. In addition to this, Jack Daniels will also be sponsoring the SA Street Stock Title on February 11th.
At race meetings, Jack Daniels merchandise will also be available for purchase including hats and shirts.
It's going to be a big year of racing at Sunline with the first meet of the season now only 61 days away.

Sunline Speedway can announce that it will be running 6 meetings during the 2011/12 speedway season.
The season kicks off with a bang on the 11th of February will the SA Street Stock title. This will be supported by Modifieds, Juniors, Wingless Sprints and Classic/Vintage.

A good sized crowd braved the chilli conditions for the last meeting for the 2010/11 season. With over 80 cars nominated and 30 events on the program, race fans were in for a big day of action. So much so, that the lights had to be turned on so the feature races could be completed.

On a cold night at Sunline Speedway, a healthy sized crown witnessed some great racing on track with very few incidents through the night.
The main event for the night was the Steve Butcher Memorial for Street Stocks. Whilst the field was smaller than anticipated, the entries that did run put on a great show. This weekend see's the Sunline Speedway host its last night meeting of the season with some big fields in attendence. The headline event is the Steve Butcher Memorial for Street Stocks. Other classes on the night include Super Sedans, Junior Sedans, Modified Sedans and AMCA's. To finish the night off, there will be the spectacular Figure 8 race.

A good size crowd turned out in chilli conditions for meeting #3 at the Sunline Spedway last night. A total of 52 cars took to the track along with a variety of classic's.
Easily the biggest field of the night went to the Junior Sedans with 18 drivers battling for their Easter series. With over 60 cars currently nominated for this weekends racing, it proves to be a great night of racing for the qhole family. Weather forcasts are great with perfect conditions to greet race fans leaving no excuse to get yourselves trackside.
Gates open at 4pm with racing set to start at 6pm. Full catering and Bar facilities are available throughout the night. Adults can get in for just $18 while a family ticket is $38.

After a break of over 2 months, Sunline Speedway is set to fire back into life on the night of Easter Sunday. With Renmark Speedway on the night before for some classes, car counts will be great.
